Cross Timbers Royalty Trust is an express trust. Its principal asset is the net profits interests. The net profits interests comprise net profits interests from producing royalty and overriding royalty interest properties in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico, and net profits interests from working interests in four properties in Texas and three properties in Oklahoma. The underlying properties of the trust include producing properties in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
