Business Background

Winland Electronics, Inc. (Winland) provides a line of environmental monitoring products to the security industry. The Company's products are manufactured to protect against loss of assets due to damage from water, excess humidity, extremes of temperature and loss of power. Its monitoring devices include EnviroAlert, WaterBug, TempAlert and Power-Out Alert. Insight provides real-time visibility of temperature, water, gas, humidity and other physical irregularities in critical condition environments. It markets and sells its line of critical condition monitoring products primarily through a network of distributors, dealers, security installers and integrators. It serves industries, such as healthcare, research facilities, food service and manufacturing.
